3 Beeps usually means a memory issue. If you've recently added or tried to add additional memory to the computer and have started getting these beeps. Remove all new memory you've added to the computer. If the computer works fine after removing the new memory you're encountering either an incompatibility or defective new memory.

SOURCE: 3 beep sound

the 3 beeps means memory problem.
un-install the memories, take a look the stick and the slot. make sure they are in good condition.
reinsert the memory firmly, and make sure they are lock down.
if the still appear, you need to get new memories for the board.

I have dg31pr M/b,core 2 duo processor,i have 2x2gb ram 667,but long beep sound are coming from, and remove one memory system is working, and put another ram beep sound coming, how to solve this problem?

Sounds like bad or incompatible memory. I would replace the stick giving you issues, try to find a matching memory stick to the one that is working.

Hope this helps

3 beep sound coming

Open your chassis (cabinet) and look for the bios jumper on the motherboard. It is located near the SATA ports next to the Front Auxiliary Fan connector. Put the jumper in 2-3 to enable maintenance mode. This will allow you to enter bios settings. Then redo any changes that you had made, i.e. reset the memory configuration to auto and save the changes and exit.
Now replace the jumper in 1-2 position. Reboot. And your system will work fine.

Problem with my newly built pc

Hello!

The information for that specific motherboard lists beep codes for 3 beeps or 4 beeps. 3 beeps signals a memory error, 4 beeps signals a thermal warning.

The PDF is here.

Additional information on beep codes can be found at this site.

Hope this helps! If not, let me know and I will try to find more information.

Good luck!
