Comman error after installing the printer driver for winxp and I issue a print the control panel of the printer reads "command error driver ink set settings is wrong

    lost the original drivers and copied one from the net for winxp

    when I used the utility it worked and it clean the nozzle but when I print it reads command error on the printer control panel

Without paper jam, the system is showing paper jam ? why ?

try to run Maintenance from windows control panel, also open all compartments on teh printer and look to see if there is a fragment of paper stuck there.

Heap over flow error

The "Heap Over Flow" error indicates you are basically running out of memory to store graphics commands before a command to print data is issued.
The solution is
1) Windows Printing.
A) Ensure the printers EMULATION setting matches the printer driver uses.
B) If using the T6050 printer driver ensure you have the correct lavel of firmware. The later version of printer driver need to have the latest T6050 firmware installed in the printer.
C) Consider setting the printer EMULATION to EPSON FX then install the EPSON FX100 driver on the Windows Box
Or
Install the IBM Proprinter XL24 driver on the Windows Box and set the printer EMULATION to IBM Proprinter
Using either of these two compatible drivers will 'side step' issues caused by printer firmware / drinter driver compatibility issues as it may be difficult to obtain suitable firmware or drivers due to the age of this device.


2) If you are coding the escape commands yourself you need to check these as they are incorrect if this error is seen

My status reads error and it wont print

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken . Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying or poor ink cartridge contacts. Sometimes the power supply unit must be checked as a poor SMPS unit can deliver low voltage and cause issues to the printer function. Check all the leads and connections of the mother board , the tags to the ink cartridge. Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge , if jammed or tight remove motor and manually free the drive before it is set back.

Command error on epson 9600

Are you sure it is a 'command error' and not a 'communication error'. I could not find anything on a 'command error' but did find this on a 'communication error'.


Q: Why am I getting a communication error when I try to print?

A: Check the following if you are getting a communication error when printing:

Make sure the type of driver you installed matches the ink type in the printer. Verify the ink type by checking the part number on the ink cartridges.

Make sure the printer interface setting matches the connection type you're using. By default, the printer interface should be set to Auto, which supports all connection types.

Check the physical cable connection and make sure the cable is not be longer than 10 ft. You may want to replace the cable.

You may also get communication errors if the printer name is not set correctly. Contact EPSON at (888) 377-6611 or (562) 276-1305 to get instructions on how to verify this.


You might want to check to see if you have the current drivers for your printer and operating system; a new driver can be downloaded here.

HP3600 USB printer works but won't print on my HP7058 Laptop

Try removing all ports from your laptop, then reboot, and then create just one USB port. Also, go to your hardware devices and make sure your usb ports don't have any question marks or yellow warning symbols. Be sure first that the drivers for your USB ports are installed and working first. This sounds either a faulty USB cord, which does happen, or USB drivers issues in your laptop. The printer is probably not the problem here.

Win Vista cannot print on Win XP(P) shared lexmark p6250 printer

try to remove printer driver and install again located at control panel..
how to do this?
go to the start and din control panel and din click ad and remove program you can see the new window appear name current install files you can see the printer driver bellow click uninstall. to take effect restart you pc din install again the printer driver.
and chk your tuner or ink maybe if not empty thank you hope i can help you... have a good day!!!!!!

Can't delete print job for an Epson C** printer

I don't know which OS you have. I will assume it is a newer OS like WinXP. You have tried to reboot the PC I'd imagine. Try stopping the print spooler by running the following command from the cmd prompt.

net stop spooler

Then check the print queue and see if you can manually delete the print job. Then issue the command

net start spooler
