I recently bought a second hand konika bizhub c250. The problem i am facing is that every time i try to print A3 size on full colour (and i say full colour cause, plain A3 with little colour or text work fine) paper jam on the oven area and i get the massage misfeed detected. i open the side doors reach the oven and i can see the paper have been engulfed on the oven rolls. I had learn how to remove it. But this problem keeps going every time i try to print A3 with lots of colour, if i am lucky i can print 1 A3 out of 5 attempts with no misfeed message and no paper jam in the oven. What is causing this problem and how can be fix it???? Thanks !

First, I should ask where you buy your toner and what quality is it. If it's not a genuine Konica Minolta toner you will run into more problems.

Your first check, print using about 5 copies of card, if the prints on the cards shows shadowy image or you find shadow repetition of the prints, that's a confirmation of a bad toner quality.

clean the rollers with propanol whcih is available small bottles with hardware vendors or with chemists. clean the rollers carefully with that try a print. if it not works then consult your service centre.

Go to internet explorer, type in the IP address of the copier, and you will open a page showing you the copier.

Click on the SCAN tab and check the settings.

The most common fault is when the user name and password of the PC has been changed.

Hi

I have come across this kind of problem.

Is your BizHub on the network? If yes, please switch it off completely, and take the Ethernet cable out of the BizHub.

Wait for atleast 30 seconds and reconnect the cable. Now start the printer again and see if the error message goes away.

SOURCE: Paper Tray Settings

You have Auto Tray Switching acticated (ATS). Unless you specify each tray/paper with different settings it will switch.

Go in to the utility menu and you can find this in the paper tray settings area I believe.

You can turn this off completely to avoid this in the future.

If you look around you can even just tweak the settings for this, but in your case i would just shut it off.

Unfortunately you cannot reset those electronic counters.
I'd suggest reloading the firmware to try and solve the issue going forward.

set the paper bypass tray to the size of the check mite need to be customize measure the checks and tell the copier the size its x and y size A4 is same as letter size except its for the rest of world USA is letter and the rest is A4. A3 is 11x17.

Does the demo page do the same? Mite have image control board failure. And electrical storms on a good surge protector not a Ace hardware 19.99 special, of course nothing against Ace Hardware :). Could also be a High Voltage board failure. Meter count page OK print out.

Trying to print A3 full colour on my bizhub c250.2out of 3 times paper crashes at the oven and get the massage: misfeed detected, i remove the jam paper. but i would like to know what can cause this...

Fusing unit life is over or it can be the paper size problem.if you are using manual by pass tray for A3 printing then make sure machine is detecting A3 in manual by pass tray.if its OK then problem is in fusing unit.

Colour printing

Hi Alan,
Please ensure that the printer driver is set correctly.
Go to your Printer & Faxes menu, right click the C250, click printing preferences, click the Quality tab and make sure Colour is selected. Apply the changes and bingo!
The above assumes you are using Windows and a PCL driver.

How to copy a3 to a3

simply place the original A3 size paper on the glass, now select the tray which have A3 size paper in it, now press the "start" key. you will get A3 to A3 copy....

Paper feed and colour problems with Konica Minolta bizhub c250

any stripes are usually caused by imagining unit, first use the tool in front cover to clean laser glasses. inspect IU drums for stripes maybe youll need to change them. is the page coming out ok, but picture is printed crookedly ?
