Question about PfaFF Creative 7570

Pressure foot problem

The pressure foot on my pfaff 7570 won't go all the way down. It lifts up, but won't go all the way down. I put it down manually, but there's no pressure on it. I was sewing fine, I pulled it up to change pieces of fabric. When i went to put it back down, it didn't work. Please help...I have a big project to get done by Christmas!

I have the exact same problem-- the presser foot won't go all the way down. Sometimes when I use the lever to indicate that I want the foot down, it does start going down very slowly, but it doesn't go all the way down. Can't figure this out-- it just started doing this recently, and I've had this machine for years! Help!

SOURCE: no communication between pfaff 7570 and computer

It sounds like you have it configured properly if you have the little machine and computer appearing on the display screen. I had this problem too in the beginning, file assistant doesn't use the files for the 7570 its only for some of the newer machines, use Vip customize to send the design to the machine from the file drop down menu. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Pfaff 7570 connection to new XP laptop

I bought a 25 pin female RS-232 to USB cable from a computer repair store. It works great. You will have to install the software that comes with it so the computer will know that it is a serial port.

I had this same problem. On the bottom of the head there is a slide switch. Lay your machine on its back and you can easily see it. Slide it back and your problem should be solved.

Error message on Pfaff 7570 is "bring presser foot lifter to sewing position?" Is this a fatal error or is this a procedure that has to be done before the machine will operate?

Assuming that the presser foot lifter is working, this shouldn't be a fatal error. The presser foot has to be down to sew. The lifter needs to be in the down position to put the foot down.

The manual for the Pfaff Creative 7570 is available on the product page: . The direct link to the manual is . See page 32 (page 36 of the PDF) of the manual to see a picture of the presser foot lifter.

I hope this helps.

Pfaff creative 7570 embroidery unit error message 'raise the presser foot lifter' won't clear even though it is raised?

I had this problem, but ignored it, go through the advised listing on the machine's screen, under 'pressure foot lifter' and see if anything can be adjusted.

Pfaff 7570 needle hits with ruffler installed

Perhaps the ruffler foot is defective (a piece bent or something) that is causing the needle to deflect.Install a brand new needle. Make sure you are installing the ruffler foot properly, ie the fork needs to be around the needle holder.

My pressure foot is very slow to go down.

Put a drop of WD40 on the top of the presser bar and leave it overnight then work the presser bar lever up and down a few times.

Pressure foot on Pfaff 7570 won't keep pressure on fabric

Double-check to make sure the feed dog lever (located next to the bobbin case) is fully in the up position.

If the lever is in the correct position and you still have no pressure on the fabric, an adjustment of the upper or lower feed system may be necessary... as there is no user adjustment that can be made to these.

We would recommend that you take your 7570 to an authorized Pfaff service technician (you can locate your nearest dealer on their Dealer Locator). While your neighborhood sewing machine repair person may be quite good, they may not have access to any parts that might be needed.

Hope this helps narrow down your problem.

Happy stitching,

Pfaff 6122 Problem

Your machine just needs to be tuned up an the part inside that lower and raises the presser foot needs to be re-lubricated.  Lint, dust, dryness and the machine not being used can cause this issue with most pfaff machines (including my 7570).  A standard tune up from your local PFAFF dealer will remedy this.

Threading a pfaff creative 7570

Always thread the machine with the presser foot up. This keeps the tension disks open while you are threading. Open the lid on top. Put thread on spool holder. Go directly to your left and down the path on the farthest left. Go all the way to the bottom and bring the thread up on the path closer to the spool. Hook the thread through the metal piece that moves up and down while sewing. It should be in the highest position when threading. Run the thread down and clip into the small metal holder above the needle. Pull down needle threader, draw thread across front of it from left to right and pull through needle.
