The symptom is caused by a breakdown in power supply or the horizontal deflection circuits. have it check by a qualified service technician.

I have an LG LED LCD TV, about 6months old. The remote control is not working, despite battery change and the touch sensor panel is not working either. This occurred last night and it is stuck on the same...

Hi,

If the touch panel on the tv set is also not functioning as it should, then the tv set will either need a 'factor reset' or be serviced by an LG approved service agent.

As this set is only 6mnths old, it will still be covered by the manufacturer's 1yr warranty and should be repaired at no charge.

Cheers,

My tenplus year old Toshiba 32" TV is stuck in standby mode

You have an old tv so the best problems are bad capacitors and bad grounds. Have someone pull the board and search for high voltage caps [160volts or 250 volts] with 1 to 4.7 microfarads. Should be two or maybe three and check all grounds. If the 4 amp fuse is good than the above will save your TV.

Green screen

There is a good chance that it is a bad CRT or a bad CRT Driver Board.
Hope this Helps,

No pic but sound :/

You are having a high voltage problem. Quite possibly in the horizontal deflection. I would check the horizontal output and regulator transistors.
