Make sure the batteries are good and installed correctly. turn on device(manually) press and hold (setup) button until the red indicator stays on. then release the set up button. press and release device button(tv,vcr ect) the red indicator light will blink, then stay lit. press channel up until the device changes channel.The red indicator light blinks and stays lit.if you over shoot the code required press channel down to back track. now press and release the mute button to lock in the code.

The instructions listed were much more helpful than trying to enter 15 different (3) or (4) digit codes provided in the manufacturers user manuel. Thank you....your post was
