My Konka TV has a rapid horizontal roll that will not go away. I searched for a horizontal button and/or setting but couldn't find it. I tried unplugging it as well, but the picture keeps rolling when I turn it back on. Can you help me please?

Re: Picture has a horizontal row
This symptom is caused by a trouble in the integrated circuit of in the vertical oscillator circuit.
try to look if your tv has a vertical hold control at the back or inside, if it does not have, u have a problem in the vertical oscillator circuit. by the way, its not the horizontal that u should concentrate into, its the vertical. coz this is a vertical sync problem.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Vertical jumping may have a vertical hold issue, horizontal may have a horizontal hold issue. Most older tv sets will have some knobs or adjustable screws for vertical and horizontal hold. Turn your set on and check for these knobs on the back of your set and adjust until your picture is in as well as you can get it
My Konka LCD model KDL32AT23U Displayed a picture, then vanished, showing different colored vertical lines in horizontal blue bands. Then I could not turn it off with the remote or standby button on the side.Only with the main switch. What's wrong??

Keep in mind that there is only one set of RCA (or composite) inputs to this tv. For the video, you have the option of using the RCA jacks OR S Video input. When using the composite set of inputs you are using set of jacks (looking from the back) to the right of the tv that are furthest away from you. The audio for this set of jacks are the second and third composite jacks (counting from the right).
is this a horizontal black line going up or down? if yes, this sympton is caused by a trouble in the integrated circuit or in the vertical oscillator circuit.
this symptons has 2 variations. one is the intermittent rolling of the picture. this referred to as the "loose vertical hold" the other variations is the continuous upward or downward rolling of the picture
