Hardware issue My power light on the front of the console is blinking yellow indicating some sort of hardware/software issue. it is not software because i have formatting the hds are number of times. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this flashing yellow light and knew of any methods to pinpoint the problem. i have two of these servers, both are flashing yellow. i have tried swapping processors, RAM, NIC cards. In my mind all thats left are either the motherboards or RAID cards. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Drew, Sorry it took so long to answer this but somehow it got by me unnoticed. The flashing power LED typically means a power related issue. One of the great things about Dell equipment is they supply lots of diagnostic help. If you don?t have the original diagnostic disk you can download the software from this link. http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&releaseid=R107682&SystemID=PWE_PNT_P3C_2550&os=WNET&osl=en&deviceid=10658&devlib=0&typecnt=1&vercnt=3&formatcnt=1&libid=36&fileid=142340 This utility is usually pretty good at finding hardware issues and is the first place to start.
