Question about Xerox DocuColor 12 Printer
Yes, I have the same problem on my machine. For some reason when printing anything that has a high coverage, the machine can't keep up to it's own toner requirements. One solution I've found is to do what Kemo says. If running high colour, switch to some black after a couple hundred sheets for a while then come back. If running all black, switch to some color. One other tip is if the "replace black toner soon" message comes on and you're doing a large job, replace it right away. If you don't the toner reserve will drop low and cause this problem again. I've had my sensors replaced a few times and while it helped, the problem still occurs from time to time.

Black toner problem.Probably You have low toner sensor defect.
But try first to vacuum and clean black toner dispenser.You must vacuum whole path wich is used to transport black toner to developer unit.Then if printing B/W print only, you must print 10 full color sheets every 100 copies.
