Why aren't the track in the same order as on the cd
I have recently bought this mp3 player but I found out that he reads the tracks in alphabetical order instead of putting them by there track number
I find it pretty weird cause I don't get why you would want the songs sorted in alphabetical order
And I know it isn't the only mp3 player who does this
now the only solution I found is to manually change every file info by replacing the title of the song by the track number so the songs are in the same order as on the cd but that can be very long
I was hoping that there might be an easier solution, if anyone knows it would be greatly appreciated
not really ;) the thing is on some cd's you have intro songs or just songs that almost melt onto one another and as a music maniac it just won't do ;)

I agree it is very anoying, but what I do is just shuffle my songs every morning (I just alternate between shuffle and shuffle repeat). Then at least you have some variety. I don't think there is any other way to fix this. Sorry. I hope that helped you.

If the track name contains a space or punctuation at the begining it will change where the track appears. If you used a program like ID3 TagIT (free download) it would automatically check and rename the songs, it will also add missing info like artist or album.
Renaming not needed...Copy the album onto the folder which you use to drag and drop music to the player and then drag it again
into the music folder which is a sub folder of the folder where you just copied the music to. This means you are copying from an area on the
player to another area. This will keep the track listing that you
originally have for the album and means no change is needed to mp3 tags.
Set up the device for automatic synchronization in Windows Media Player (an annoying feature in and of itself) - otherwise the playlists will not transfer properly.
