My 1 year old was playing with our TV remote control. Now the TV is locked. By this I mean that it says across the screen in green letters "LOCKED". Sound is OK, but no picture. TV is a SONY Trinitron KV-25C3B.
Thanks in advance for any help!

When all else fails read the owners manual page 35:
"• To unlock the buttons on the remote control by using the touch sensor panel of the main unit (see page 25): 1 Press MENU to display the MENU screen, and then press VOLl/k to select "System Options". 2 Press CHs/r to select "Operation Lock Out", and then press INPUT. 3 Press CHs/r to select "Off", and then press INPUT. 4 Press MENU to exit. • To unlock the buttons on the TV, press MENU on the remote control, and then select "Off" in "Operation Lock Out".
I thinks that you have its original remote handset with you now, and posts this solution. If you don't have it, either buy a new original remote handset or try to get it from any of your friends and relatives, who owns the same model of Mitsubishi Tv, you have now; only to unlock it. After unlock, you can use any other remote control. Mitsubishi sets use a four-digit code for a V-Chip locked program, view a locked TV, cancel the lock, or to enter the V-Chip lock menus. You can view the locked shows on the TV set by pressing the number 9 and QV buttons on the remote at the same time, whenever your code is requested. This process temporarily unlocks the TV and asks you to enter a new code. OK.
You're going to need the remote to fix this one. If you have any other GE or RCA tv's you can try it. Most of the remotes that are produced within a few years of your television will probably work. When you get one the instructions are:
Front Panel Lock
This feature allows you to lock the buttons on the front of the TV. Even when the front
panel lock feature is on, the TV operates with the remote control.
To lock the buttons on the front of the TV:
1. Make sure the TV is on.
2. Press and hold the POWER button on the remote for approximately 5 seconds.
To turn off the front panel lock:
1. Make sure the TV is off.
2. Press and hold the POWER button on the remote for approximately 5 seconds
depending on the remote you have from rogers but the newest remote has 5 device's across the top we call it a 5 button there is a 3 and a 4 and a fat 5 button that is the old pvr remote all are pretty much the same in setting up easiest way is on 5 button remotes select the device ie. tv pres and hold setup untill light flashes 3 times enter 9-9-1 the with the tv on press ch+ button untill tv turns off once tv is off press setup to lock in the code test it by pressing tv then pressing power should turn tv back on if not repeat previous steps untill you get the right code some tv models are not compatible with the rogers remote 3 and 4 button pretty much the same except insted of a setup button you have to press and hold tv and select at the same time untill light flashes 3 times press 9-9-1 then press tv button untill tv turns off press select to lock into place
