I need to replace the PSU. I am having difficulty in removing it from the case to fit the new one. I have tried to locate a maintenance manual on the WEB in order to take the right steps in sequence but without success. Any help appreciated. I also wish to fit a new quieter Fan. Advise on removal of the old would be helpfull.
Ha just had the same problem myself, infact its easy. You must remove the rear plate of the machine - just 2 screws in the upper corners hold it on. the you can wriggle it off and slide the psu out the back. just make sure you untangle the power cables before you pull too hard, or you'll br replacing the mobo too :) hth f

You need to find out the motherboard make or a serial number. As this may have a slocket type fitted processor(on it's side) and makes you limited with fan types etc.

sorry ignore last, wrong post, appologies.
There should be 3 or 4 screws on the outside of the case holding the psu in and sometimes 2 securing screws along the body, and it should just slide out of the casing, as when you buy a new one it will be fitted exactly the same, as they are normally universal.
Just ensure that you get the same size as some compact pc's have a mini psu fitted.
