I need to replace the PSU.
I am having difficulty in removing it from the case to fit the new one. I have tried to locate a maintenance manual on the WEB in order to take the right steps in sequence but without success.
Any help appreciated.
I also wish to fit a new quieter Fan.
Advise on removal of the old would be helpfull.
Ha just had the same problem myself, infact its easy.
You must remove the rear plate of the machine - just 2 screws in the upper corners hold it on. the you can wriggle it off and slide the psu out the back.
just make sure you untangle the power cables before you pull too hard, or you'll br replacing the mobo too :)

Most mother boards are loosely speaking "one size fits all". The newer the board the smaller generally. You will have to offer it up and see. It may mean you have to move a couple of pillars. So long as the PSU leads fit, it sholud be OK.
You will not find a power supply for this case. Why would you want to upgrade such an old computer? Get yourself a new one with amply power for your needs. If you are one that upgrades regularly, get a standard case with standard components that can be upgraded without the hassle of replacing proprietary form-factor compnents.
