I have got new batteries, got a new mem card, and cleaned the lense with a cloth no lubricants. And everytime i turn my DV3000 Mustek on it turns off sometimes 20 seconds before i press anything and sometimes i have to press the buttons lightly to make it change to pic mode from video mode. But mainly when i press delete or the lighting change buttons it turns off automatically even when i have full battery power.

Cleaning a lens should only be done with a non-scratching cloth and tissues designed for optics; moistened with plain water or cleaning solution designed for optics. Use of paper towels, glass cleaners, ammonia, etc. can scratch and strip special optical coatings from lenses. Apply water or solution to cloth or tissue - not to optics.
Do not lubricate lenses. Lubes attract dirt and dust and can seep into the lens and gum up aperture blades and eventually cause them to stick. Nearly all lenses do NOT require lubrication. Lenses should be cleaned professionally when not working correctly.

Did u insert them in the right position?
Check if there is any little card icon for the way to insert.
Also try push it in until you hear a click (that should be about 1-2 mm deeper then the slot surface level.)
Damp or just dry flex ribbons inside connecting the touchpad can be the cause and opening the camera and giving it a good wipe with wd40 or another lubricating fluid(use a fine artist paint brush)may solve your problem. The camera is easy to open but when lifting the right half of the housing away(screen side) be gentle and disconnect the flex ribbon underneath or you will tear them.
Is it a switch or a dial? have you tried new batteries?have you removed them and let the camera sit with the batteries out over night? The button or mode switch could be bad.
