LG KG220 my LG KG220 when i plup it in a red light comes up and it wont charge or turn on or nothing so can u help thxs

When you say it works when plugged in, do you mean the red light comes on? It should automaticaly turn off while charging. If you mean the red light works while charging but the earpiece seems like it consistantly has a dead battery, the battery may need replacing. It's not hard to replace. Check youtube to see how.

It is charged when the red light goes out. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button for one second and an audible will give you the battery charge level - high - medium - low.

hmmmm mine also is doing tht....when i press the turn on button the red light at the back will come on then the phone turns on but it willl say LG and turn off i only got the phone today it was second hand.....dnt knw if it does tht if the battery is dead or what

No not at all. It is the phone's fault. If the company does not give warranty go to consumer forum.

I dont think your soft is faulty dude, check that batt pins is clean. On the bottom where your charger goes in see if theres aby signs of liquid damage

I'm having the exact problem. I've took the battery, SD card, and SIMS card out and put it back in many times but nothing works. It freezes at the PRADA logo! Help!

Almost certainly liquid damage to the lower part of the phone!

Depending on your skills, removing the back cover (the bottom lifts after removing the four screws and then you need to twist and tug the top to get the back off) and clean the bottom 1/4 of the phone using a toothbrush soaked in isopropyl alcohol. Then dry completely with hot air, a hair dryer will suffice.

10 out 10 non-charging KG-220 seem here in the last six months were all fixed using this method!

The classic indication is when plugging the charger into the switch on phone, the handset turns off.
