I have had this printer for just more than a year. A couple of months ago, occasionally when I would print, it would come up with service error 6C00 and wouldn't print. I checked the printer, opened everything, checked for jams, pressed ok and it worked. I'm at the point now where I have to follow those steps in order to get the printer to work.
Now, I can't even get it to work - just keeps coming up with the same error and I can't seem to clear it out. I've also turned the power off and unplugged it.
Has anyone had any problems with this? Any solutions other than taking it to a service center or buying a new printer?

yes ink can dry up.. big chance your ink have dried up, since you've installed them couple of months ago.. there's a possibility that the ink may have not dried up but the print head may clogged.. you can try running some maintenance like clean cartridge or print head test using Dell All inOne Solution center..
Hope this helps..

Ensure the 4 paper sizes match, in the computer - the document and printer driver; in the printer (change in control panel) and paper tray (adjust the physical side and length).
