Have got a fujioptics 16mb video camera but windows asks for codec and when I try it on corel video studio says file formats not supported

Just install VLC or something. Or use an OS that comes with FFMPEG. It\'s pretty certain that they\'ve both reverse engineered whatever is causing you issues and equally likely that their version works better..

It\'s only going to be H264 anyway. Even iTunes could probably play that. Do Corel really still exist by the way? LOL.

Teac A170S won't play, RW, FF, or record.

Hello
Can you hear the motor running, when you press any of the Play, Rew or FF buttons?. Just place your ear very close to the player and listen to it. If the answer is 'yes', the drive belt is broken or slipped off. You have to replace the drive belt. If the answer is 'no' the motor of your device's drive mechanism has damaged, and should be replaced. OK.

WISH YOU A PROSPEROUS 2012.

Suddenly fails to boot. Doesn't go through dignostics, just goes straight to 'FF'

POST power on self test

test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions IDE SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause you problems computer needs all of the data and power to travel through every working device and to have an end for a computer to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd drives need to have current go through make sure these devices are working

check the CPU make sure it has thermal paste and dust free secure seating

also check your computer ram modules and cmos battery make sure they are dust free and securely seated some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

hope this helps you

Lenove ku-0989 fn key

  1. Numerous folks indicate that Windows doesn't register the Fn key as a keypress but using a tool that gives the ASCII value of a keypress I see the Fn key returning FF (perhaps FF in this case means 'not registered'). I also see that keys like Ctrl register with one ASCII code when pressed alone and another when pressed in combo with another key. Fn will only register when pressed alone, so Windows definitely isn't seeing the combo. This took a solution like AutoHotKey off the table.

  2. I ran KeyTweak (which shows you the hardware scan codes of a keypress and the Fn key registerd as 57443). Using this program I remapped Fn to the Ctrl key; this worked perfectly. However, I suspect that because of the issue in #1, the combo of, for example, Fn + C did not execute a copy.

Bought a camera a few days ago a fashion fujioptics in lanzarote and it keeps turning itself on and off...can it be fixed or have i been ripped off?

If you do a google search for the word fujioptics you will find a number of items that suggest that this camera is a scam.

I have an FF-200HD in front of me that my father in law bought in Lanzarote. It claims to be a 12 Megapixel device but produces far worse quality pictures and video than his previous 5MP HP.

Lanzarote seems to be littered with shops making money out of this trade.
