I purchased a JVC GR-DVL300u digital camera, installed the software in my PC, connected the serial cable, and the video capture program worked fine. But.... Recently I installed software for a "still" digital camera and now my video capture program will not connect to the JVC camera. I read the warning in the manual about usb drivers blocking the RS232 serial port, so I deleted the all of the software and reloaded the video capture software but it still is not working... any ideas
There should be a selection of input devices in your settings menue where you have to select the proper input device. one camers or the other. may even be selection for web cam if you have one.
