I recently got this mp3 player. It was working fine until i put some songs on and they won't play. Some of the song files on the mp3 have weird symbols before and after them. i look in the music file on the computer for my mp3 player and there are some weird symbols in there tool. i tried deleteing them and it won't delete. it says "source cannot be found" some of the songs i put on there work. its getting me kinda mad so help me out.
You might have to take the product back because you might of corrupted it. I corrupted mine just recently and I had the same problem. If you decide to get another one, don't unplug the MP3 before it's done saving.

the sansa e250 will play wma files, as per Sandisk. The problem is you bought them from a download service so there DRM protected. The easiest way I found to remove them is to use tunebite . Cost is about $30 or you can find it on P2P sites or newgroups.
The down side is it takes about 14 hours to convert 5 gigs worth of music. But you can then play it on anything.
TIP: convert the files to mp3 not wma so they can be used on practically any player
