SOURCE: oven showing F2 fault

tire, if your model starts with 911. the code stands for an overtemperature condition. I would start with the temp sensor, this is the probe inside the oven cavity, part # 334300. You can ohm it out, should be around 1100 ohms at room temp. This is for model number starting with 911. Catriver..post back.

SOURCE: kenmore oven: glass dome for interior light removal

Hopefully someone answered your question by now. If not, the glass bulb cover sticks sometimes, but it does turn counterclockwise. Be firm with it, let it know who's boss. Once you've removed it, you can replace the 40 watt appliance bulb. (The manual suggests you unplug the range or disconnect power for your safety). Good luck.

SOURCE: Kenmore gas Range -- Control Panel not working

Hi. your assessment is correct. when you have normal operations with the stove top and the control panel is blank or non operational, this will confirm either a wiring harness issue or a dead control circuit board. The wiring harness can sometimes become lose or the connectors can become corroded but, in this issue, i am sure its the ECB(electroninc control board). In this case, you will have to replace the board it self.

Please rate and god bless:)

Maytag Cwe4800acb oven error

You either have a bad control board or the touch pad has a button sticking and it needs the touch pad. The temperature sensor would not be a problem for this concern. I hope this helps.

Why kenmore oven code f-10 comes on when bake or broil is on

If your Kenmore unit's model number starts with 790, an F10 error means that the oven temperature sensor is seeing a runaway temperature reading. This could mean that the sensor or the "clock" (electronic control unit) is bad. (Sometimes it could be the element but usually you'll see that easily.)

Unplug the unit (or flip the circuit breaker to off) for about 30 minutes to reset the error. If it recurs, you'll need to do additional troubleshooting to determine the fault. Please add a comment with the complete model number of your oven/range for additional assistance. searspartsdirect.com will probably have a parts diagram and parts list for your oven or range.

I hope this helps.

Kenmore stove the oven wont come on it says dr

The DR error can mean that the door lock is enabled (or the oven believes it is). If the oven door was open and the Clean button was pressed, this can happen. Try pressing Cancel with the door closed. If the door is open, press the oven light button in and press Cancel. Try unplugging the oven (or flipping the circuit breaker to off) for a few minutes to reset the error.

If these don't help and the oven is not locked, then the control unit probably needs to be replaced. If you add a comment with the model of the oven, I may be able to direct you to the parts.

If your oven is still under warranty, contact Kenmore. I hope this helps.

Nothing happen what should i do now? i try to unlock and is nothing on the screen is black and by the screen with tha clock say F2;E1

If your oven is displaying the F2 E1 error code, then the problem is probably NOT just that the CONTROL LOCK feature on the oven was engaged.

The F2 E1 error is probably an indication of an electrical fault inside the electronic control system for the oven.

Sometimes this is simply a temporary error in the control panel circuitry which can be cleared by shutting off the electrical power supply to the oven for a minute or so at the breaker box.

Other times this is caused by a loose wire or faulty connection inside the control panel, or it is simply a faulty control panel circuit board.

Try switching off the electrical power to the oven using the corresponding breaker at the main fuse panel in your home. When you switch the power back on after a minute or so, press the CANCEL button on the oven controls panel.

If the above procedures do not work then you will likely need to contact a local service technician to disassemble the oven, diagnose the cause, and repair the problem.

If your oven is new, be sure to contact your dealer at the place of purchase since the cost of the repair may be covered under the terms of your warranty.

Good luck.

My top oven is displaying some kind of error message. First it was F3, now it is F2. a loud ding noise comes with it. Help!!!

I get this, and F7 sometimes, especially after self-cleaning. Was told by a repairman to turn off the power, the breaker in electrical box and leave off. I usually leave off for anywhere from 5 hours to the next morning and then flip the breaker back on. Then it is fine. Happened to me 4 days before Thanksgiving too!

When I turn the GE oven on sometimes it works fine other times it will shut off. When it shuts off it will give the F2 or F3 error sign. Can you please tell me what this means? Thanks

Hi, the F2 Error code means the oven has detected an excess temperature condition. Most often this is due to a bad temperature sensor - the sensor costs about $75 from an online repair site.
The "F3" error code means the oven sensor is open, I suggest you flip breaker off then back, on Re check for error, if OK fine if not turn back off and fix or call for service man...

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E0 on your oven means that the keypad is shorted and to resolve this issue you'll have to replace the electronic range control/clock(ERC). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Kenmore electric oven will not turn on.

burnt out fuses or flipped circuit breakers? burnt out elements? Fuses are usually in the top of the oven above the knobs. Is it just the oven; check the main circuit panel? details?

EO F2 on our Kenmore oven keeps coming up.

The "F2 - E0" error code means "Shorted keypad".

Remove power from the range, open the control panel and unplug the membrane switch ribbon from the control board.Reconnect power to the range and observe for an hour.If the error code reappear - replace the control board. If not - replace the membrane switch.
