Samsung 710v tft monitor

Can anyone please help ,,,my samsung 17inch 710v sycmaster ,,,has developed two fingerprint sized cloudy spots on the display ,,wich are quite annoying when im using it,,,its not dirty marks ,im convincing myself my little girl has pressed her fingers on the sceen,,,also when i have a dark background the marks apear light or lighter,,please help if you can ,,its worrying thanks,,fiona

These "pressure marks" can only be fixed by replacing the LCD panel, which is not economical. The panels usually cost as much as or more than the monitor itself, unoless you can find a good used one.

Try to change the desktop display settings, see screenshots below, see if it works

Right click on your destop and go to properties > settings

  1. Set your Screen resolution to 1280X1024
  2. Then click advanced and go to Monitor and set the refresh rate to 60 Hertz.

The problem is main board inside monitor which is needed to be changed with new one. So I suggest you to take monitor in nearest samsung's service center.
