Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Unable to change ringtone by accessing it through settings.

Alright so I got a motorola razr v3 the black one ( don't know if it matters). any so I'll admit that I dropped the phone a few times on a wood carpeted floor but only from like a foot high anyway so like i bluetoothed some ringtones and i have the purchased real tones from the cingular website anyway when I go to the settings on my phone where you change the audio for the ring style for your phone. Some times I can go to it to select the ringtones and i start at the original tones and when i get to the ones that was bluetoothed to me it jumps back to the setteing menu it aslo does this when I try to set a ringtone as an alarm so i can wake up. Is there any thing that i can do to change my tones besides going to sounds and setting it there because i want to change my text ringer and stuff. It's insured but I don't know if my provider can or will fix it. I willing to reset the phone if that will fix it as a last resort.

srry but i sold the phone after i shrtly broke the key pad i now have an lg cu500. "which by the way is a great phone", any ways resetting the phone is usually just clearing all the settings of the phone including memory n haveing your provider reinstall the software. my new phone has an automatic software updater so i don't have 2 do that nemore. as for the installing the software in pretty sure only the providers have it.

My razr v3 won't use dowloaded ringtones

you should have the phone debrand by flashing a new firmware on the phone and this would remove the block place in the phone.
