I'm having an odd problem with my phone: at 10:58pm, every night, my phone wakes up like it's receiving an incoming call, vibrates once (or beeps once, depending on which mode it's on) and then procedes to idle. This doesn't happen at any other time during the day, when I open the phone it displays no message, and I knonw I don't have any unread messages or unheard voicemails.
What could be causing this, and how can I fix it? It does tend to wake me up at night.

Strange. I would try resetting your iPhone. Hold down the home and power buttons until it powers off. It should start up automatically but if not just press the power button. This has worked for me in the past when my iPhone has acted strangely. Don't worry about a reset or hard reboot. You won't lose any data or settings.
ello and thank you for taking the time to read this!
After waking up today I turned on my Sony Ericsson w580i only to
find that it was no longer functioning. When I try to make a call it
beeps twice and ends the call. Similarly when someone else is calling
me it does not display an incoming call. When this happens the caller
is simply forwarded to my voicemail.
After much frustration I turned off the phone and removed the SIM card in a futile hope
of somehow working my voodoo magic to make it work once again. I then
placed the SIM
card back into the phone and turned it back on. This effort only bore
diseased fruit however; the phone would be able to make and receive
calls yet again but only for a short amount of time. After only about 5
minutes it would yet again fail to make calls and was rendered useless.
Please if you have any information or help it would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you for your time! =)
My phone no longer does the rhythmic vibration for incoming calls. I
used to have it set up to vibration type 2 (where it vibrates in a
certain pattern). However, as of last night, any incoming call just
vibrates regularly instead of in a pattern. I checked to make sure that
the setting was not changed, and everything looked ok. Is there a
registry edit I can do to change this? I would rather not hard reset my
phone, but I will have to do that if there's no other way. Thanks
I don't believe it's a malfunction. See if your current phone company has a voice mail active for your phone. If that's the case then odds are your voice mail is picking up before your answering machine.
Activate haptic feedback so you can feel the vibration.
In the home screen press the button at the left of the home button and select Settings->Sound
At the bottom of the Sound settings menu select "Haptic feedback".
