Question about Westinghouse LTV-37WI 37 in. LCD Television

No Picture I have multi colored line running from top to bottom of my screen But no picture.

My screen will go from fine to wavy and then stay wavy with full sound.

I have the same problem was working fine and less than 2 months bam red screen green lines top to bottom no image on any input just volume works....Now i will be a victim of there horrible warranty service

twist the screen. hold opposite corners top and bottom and give a small twist.

Flickering multi-colored line in the middle of the screen.

You have a failure in the vertical deflection circuit. This could be either a bad vertical chip, the power supply that runs the chip or a bad capacitor in that circuit. This is usually a repair best left to a professional. There is a small possibility that it could be bad solder connections. If genlty tapping the unit temporarily solves the issue you can try and resolder the pins on the vertical chip LA7841 is the part number. There is also a resistor 1 ohm 1 watt. If that resistor is open you can assume the IC is bad

This indicates a convergence problem..convergence power supply probally.. however ive seen 2 other cuicits cause this ..

Definately a video processing problem and it may need a logic board it is called. Does the set work fine if you feed component into set to bypass all that? Let me know. GURU JAY
