I have had zero problems with this reciever till lately. I have to leave it on or it takes a long time to warmup (no sound till it does). Now it makes static noises which will sometimes go away if I change to direct or stereo, hit or miss. the unit is on the same power supply as the sat. reciever, DVD, VHS they all are fine. any help is appreciated.
I have a very similar problem. My Denon AVR 3300 produces a LOT of static noise during the warm up period of from 10-20 minutes. This is deffinitelly temperature related as its barely noticable in the summer. The colder the longer I hear the static and the louder it is. After 20 minutes it runs perfectly.I have a very similar problem. My Denon AVR 3300 produces a LOT of static noise during the warm up period of from 10-20 minutes. Last Summer I had the same problem myself. Also i had not OSD video output on my TV until it was warm enough. After may hours of troubleshooting, and examination of the service manual i found 2 faulty devices IC903 (7805 +5V Regulator) & IC904 (7806 +6V Regulator). These 2 devices look Ok if you check them without load, but drop their voltage under load, so in the first time i thought they were ok, and put them back, but after excluding one by one case, I finally test them with load and then I saw their misbehavior. The voltages to check are: In Regulator Unit (1U-3201-1) a) the +5V[D3] (mine was 3.5V and gradualy rised to 4.5V) b) the V6V (_+VVideo) must be +6.8V (mine was +3v only)
You better check the outputs of all 78xx regulators just to be sure.
Some days ago mine started to make noises and sound cutouts and it seems that this time must be a 7812 regulator that has only +10.1V output.

It could be a bad capacitor that is causing the unit to act that way.
I'd suggest taking in to a local repair shop to get serviced. Right now my Denon AVR-3200 has this problem with the left channel from time to time. (I plan on getting this checked out as soon as I have time and will post my results as soon as I do).
Also, the amplifier itself could be on the way out; I've had this issue with other amplifiers before they completely died on me.

take the t con board out. put some liquid flux on the square chip that has a shield on it when you remove it from the tv. place on a flat tin and place in the oven for around 15 min at 200f. or gas mark 3. keep checking on it as you don't want to melt the plastic part. were the cables connects. leave to cool down on the side after leaving for 1 min. and leave till cool on a flat surface. when cooled clean around the board with a toothbrush and some cheap nail varnish remover, and wipe down with a bit of tissue till dry and leave to dry off as it will be under the chip as well, when dry after an hour it should be fine to fit in tv. if you have some heat sink paste put some on the heat shield. around the area of the chip you just reseted.
Is it cold where you are ? If so below zero Celsius your actuator is froze up. This is happening on new Toyota trucks just leave it and go for a ride to warm things up. Then it will come out and work properly.
do a download on the reciever, pull the power leed out from the back, put your finger on the backup button on the box and put the power leed back in but always keep your finger on the backup button sometimes a bit tricky, leave your finger on the button for about 20 seconds till you see 4 lights light up on the front of the box or untill it says on the screen updating system software, take your finger of the button and leave the box for 10 mins.the lights will off then after that then give it another min to reboot its self then try it again.hope that works for you
Wow.It sounds like some people I know.Late starters.Don,t get out of bed 'till 10 am.With all you have written, a check on the operation of the choke (cold start) would be worth looking at.As you crank the motor, squeeze the fuel bulb at the same time and see if that also may help.Hope this helps
this is the delay timer display unplug from wall leave for a couple of mins and try again,if still the same keep pressing time delay button till it reaches zero appliance should work if not the electronic pcb sound faulty.
The tube behind the crisper drawers is not insulated well enough and will repeatedly freeze, leaving the water to drain on your floor. The solution is to thaw the tube and put a piece of copper the length of your tube, into the area below. The wire extending into the area below is just warm enough to keep the tube from freezing.
