I'm unsure how to add pictures to my mp3 player. I called AND e-mailed tech support, but they were no help.
I make sure it's in PlaysForSure Mode, the pictures are saved on my computer, and I've downloaded Sansa Media Converter. When I tell the converter to convert the photos, it pops up with an error message that says: "Failure to transcode files."
Is this because the pictures are already in .jpeg format? And, if so, how do I get them from there onto my player?

I just bought my dd a sandisk mp3 player but can not seem to down load photos or videos. It did not come with a manual or disk. It was a referb, but it's like new & sounds great but she wants pictures & videos on it.
What do I need to do to the photos & videos to get them to download?

I found the easiest way is to open the MediaManager to the
photos section open folder with photos drag and drop the ones you want to use it will ask if you want to add them click yes. wait until they are added to MManager Highlight them (Edit/Select All) right click on one of the pictures select synchronize
I also reduced my photos to 160x128 pixels so they don't take up much room - 71 photos = 2.5 MB
Also used the same method for adding video and music. Which is nice with music because when you add new music those titles are highlighted already. Then right click on one of the new songs, choose synchronize.
Add pictures to your MP3 player if it supports those files. The process is similar to transferring audio files. Plug your MP3 player into your computer. Open the photo file on your computer and drag pictures into the player. You can create folders to organize the pictures.
You just click on My Pictures on the start menu, on the right hand side. Then you repeat this step, but click My Computer. At the bottom you should see an icon that says Removable disk (E:). You click that, and you should see the folders of your coby mp3 player. Now you just drag a picture from the My Pictures program to Pictures on the coby mp3 player folder, and THERE YA GO!!!
In order to add pictures, you need to go to the Media>Pictures folder (go to My Computer>Opal (should be listed under Audio Devices as Opal with an icon that looks sort of like an old Minidisc player - you might have to scroll down to find the icon once you click on "My Computer in Win XP), and add pictures from your collection. P.S. Please rate accordingly... Thank you Computerrep
you have to go into the program on your computer that holds all your pictures with your mp3 pluged in you just have to right click on the photo that you want to add and select send to and then click on the dirve that your mp3 player is on and your photos will be tranferred.
alright here it is they are crap i bought one and they do not sopport anything therefore you cannot put it on, and they break down so easy...
and putting pics on is a bad idea anyway they look like crap on the screen
you have to manually add them.
Go to my computer, then click on your mp3 players drive name, then go find your pictures, copy them, then paste them on your mp3 player. That should do it.
Windows Media Player does not support synchronizing images or videos.
You need to use the Sansa Media Converter to convert and transfer photos and videos.
