Where can I take my broken sleeper chair to get repaired in the tri state area?

Any furniture upholstery company should be able to fix them for you.

There are many different rocker recliners. Did you personally flip the chair over and identify the broken spring? If you did not first see how the spring is restrained. Look at the new spring for clues. It is either welded into position or held in place by a large staple, screw, bolt or steel plate. Please take another look, snap a couple photos of the area needing repair, the new spring and forward them. I need more information. We have no way to look up repair facilities from here. We are in California USA

Flip the chair on its side to see the bottom (under the seat). If you see a cover plate, that is where the electronics are. There also may be a fuse that may be blown. If it is ok then check the switch mechanism to see if it gets power.

It is dangerous to get a massage directly on the area where you have a broken bone because it can cause extreme pain and discomfort, and can sometimes re-break the bone. It can be helpful to massage the area surrounding the bone in order to help bring more blood to the area, but a massage directly on the area should be avoided. If you know your massage chair very well and you can set it to stay only in the area near the broken bone, then it is okay. If not, then a manual massage from a massage therapist is safer because you can tell him/her the area to stay away from

I recommend a sleeper chair because you can sit up and laydown on one. Unlike a futon, they don'ttake up a lot of room. Bean bags arecomfortable but they don't provide any real support.

Sleeper chairs are like fold out couches and futons, exceptthey are made for one person and have no metal springs. They are chairs that transform into beds byeasily unfolding on the floor.
