It is hard to determine whether or not your conference roomtable can uphold the weight of a person. My guess is that they should be strong enough because they tend to bevery supportive and built out of strong materials. However, I don't recommend standing on thembecause it is still hazard regardless of it technically being able to hold you.

I definitely suggest using your conference room table as adining room table because all you need to do is put some placemats and acenterpiece and it morphs into a dining table. I'm not sure that I'd recommend using your dining room table as aconference table because it might look out of place in an office. Also, conference tables tend to have holes inthe center for cords or phones to be plugged in to.

Conference room tables are usually between 28 and 30 inchestall. They can however vary between 26and 38 inches, but these are generally adjustable.
