If u are unable to delete any files or folders I would recommend you to use Unlocker, which is a freeware. It allows u delete any files or folders which we normally cannot delete. U can download it from (for 32 bit version)

Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
