Help fixing a nortel ccr tree

I have a Nortel system with about 20 phones. I have recently had change of staff and need to change the ccr tree. This is what is working. Greeting press1 for directions Press 0 for operator IS NOT WORKING Press 2 for hairstylist Press 3 for Manicurist Press 4 for Aethesticians this is where things are messed up. The above all works properly accept the press 0 for operator in the first segment. After customers have pressed say 2 for hairstylist they are asked to press 1 for hairstylist with letter A-L or press 2 for hairstylist M-Z The next step works & tells the client the names of the stylist with a number for them to press. This is where the client does not get the correct station. I need to know how to program the phone to go to the correct telephone from this far down the tree. I need the path code. Help!! Details

If you switched phone companies and the feature stopped working you probably had Call Forward Busy/No Answer from AT&T. If you use the call forwarding in the phone it will use two phone lines for the entire length of the call. Call Comcast and have them add Call Forward Busy/No Answer and tell them the number you would like your calls forwarded to and the ring cycle (the number of rings on no answer).

Here is a link to your phone manual.This site is SAFE and requires Adobe.I use it all the time,have no problems,and is very useful.Although I have read it,you know more about your phone's functions than I do.After reading the entire thing,I am referring you to a few possible solutions which may enable you to accomplish what you are requesting.Under your T7316E telephone,letters C and H have potential.A section labeled Button inquiry also has potential.Also,under programming memory buttons there is an option for features which does not seem promising but with current technology you just never know.lol.Good luck! Are you using a StarTalk180 or a Call Pilot100 as your Auto Attendant?

If so you will need to change several levels in Feature 983 Level Programme

You need CCR which is more complex.

AA
AA/Grtg/Grtg/1 = Thank you for calling ABC
AA/Grtg/Grtg/2 = Thank you for calling ABC we are now closed
AA/Table/1/Morn = Grtg 1
AA/Table/1/After = Grtg 1
AA/Table/1/Even = Grtg 2

CCR
CCR Path 0 = If you know your parties ext plz enter it now
for list of staff press 1
PATH 1 = MENU, record list of Staff

You need to disable the CCR Tree in Table before you can make changes. DISABLE to disable or 1 to enable.

You should get a tech in to do this and train you how. 1 hour should do it.

Choose Other, CCR, ADMIN, Enter 1 for CCR tree one and when the option for "Path" appears press 0 and you will have the option to record. I believe there is an option for "More" which you select and play the greeting if not you can choose rec and the option to play the current greeting will be on the screen.

HOW TO SET UP DIALING TO OFFICE EMPLOYEE AFTER VOICEMAIL GREETING ON MY T7316E

This is the most complicated part of the Norstar voice mail system and requires a tech or fully trained admin at site.

It is called CCR Custom Called Routing.
You need to record "thank you for calling ABC" under AA/GTG/GTG/1
You then need to build a CCR tree and record the rwst of the greeting under Path 0.
Path 1 , 2 etc is where you do the pointing.
There is too much to mention here that needs to be done.
Norstar System Coordinator guide (for any version) is your friend as well but a 2 hour service call is well worth the headache.

No one in my work place knows how to work our phones. We use Nortel Networks T7316, it doesn't help that they don't make this model anymore :/. I was put in charge on setting everything up which i've done...

The feature your looking for is custom call routing(CCR). If your using 4 digit DN's then you probably have larger office environment which I'm not sure that a CCR tree will handle efficently. To build your CCR tree, enter into voicemail admin programming, press the OTHR soft key, then the CCR soft key ehn the ADMIN key
enter in a CCR tree number, then press build At this point you would enter in the number of the path you want to build and what it will do. ex. path 1 means when I press 1 on the dialpad I want it to call Mary's extension(transfer, internal, ext 2221) When your finished building your paths you'll need to save your tree.then you'll need to enable the CCR tree under AA,TABLE, Grtg Table:1, then press next til you see CCR tree: none. Press the CHNG soft key then 1 on the dialpad and ok. That will enable CCR tree 1 to work in greeting table 1. Theres a large section dedicated to building and changing CCR trees in the Nortel voicemail manuals so don't be discouraged if you don't get it on your first try. good luck
