Fd trinitron kv-27fs320

Tv turned off could not power up again,took to shop 4 months ago ,the tv was down for two weeks they stated when plug in tv was working.tv is now down again have tried to leave unpluged to see if it will reset itself again,please help with any information.ps no red light on tv when pluged in.

I think you may have a cold solder joint or burned loose connection somewhere in your power supply. Also maybe a crack in the circuit board. apparently when you moved the tv you "fixed" the problem temporarily. Stargazer

TV will not turn on

Sounds like the power supply needs replacing.

TV repair is best done by a pro unless one has significant experience with it.

Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KV-32HS500 32" just stays on standby & blinks 7 times give no indication there were any probems.- wont turn on when you push the power button it acts like it is going to come on...

we have the same porblem. We just unplug ours and wait a couple of weeks while watching another tv plug and un plug it will eventually come on then we dont turn it off again it only goes off if the power goes off.

Power light is blinking TV does not turn on

the power is blinking because there is a deffective parts... the supply that makes oscillation of tv has been cut off... either the horizontal transistor is open or the resistor from the abl change its value...if you have knowledge with the parts maybe you can try... only the qualified servicemen can repair the problems...

The key here is the count of the blinks. I'm assuming that the model number is KV-36FS120. Please post the blink count. It should be a count-pause-count...

Your tv has Leak cap in POWER supply its either primary or secondary power. Need to replace it. Look for a Electronic Tech.

Picture fades in and out

SYMPTOMS
Distorted Video, Partial horizontal size collapsed, pop sound, or high pitch squeal.

RESOLUTION
In very small amount of cases the capacitors listed below MIGHT BE reversed on the A Boards below.
This was found at the factory and corrected but a few boards might have this miss-mount.

Capacitors C450, C616, C632, C638, and C650.
