The other side cannot hear me.

I have bought 30-40 pieces of GN 8000 amplifiers and headsets for my company which is into telemarketing. I am facing a problem that the party on the otherside of the phone cannot hear me. I can hear their voices but they cant hear me. I have following connection architecture... GN 8000 > phone I/O BOX > phone mount > E1HA > DCP > Servers I dont think theres a problem in DCP coz i am able to login to the agent application. There something either with the E1HA or the GN 8000 amplifier settings. Please suggest...

I have the same problem. I ordered these headsets and amplifiers months ago and still can't get them working. I've read the manuals and looked up the part numbers to make sure they would work with Lucent Definity 6400 series phones. Now I'm surfing the net for information to why the phone I call can't hear me.

How do I remove the battery out of a NetCom 2000 headset?

That is a corded headset , no battery in the headset itself. If you have an amplifier google the manual for the model of amplifier you have.

When im using my netcom headset im able to hear my customers , but they are not able to hear me. What should I do?

If this is a new problem it could be a blocked or broken mucrophone. If it is new and you have never been able to be heard you may either have a faulty unit or perhaps your phone requires you to attach an amplifier between phone and headset. If you google telephone headset compatibility guide look up you phone make and model and see if an amplifier is required when using a corded headset

Voip settings

I've been having the same issue, I tried playing with the channel slider switch on the right side (letters A - I) and one of them worked for audio and mic. D was the magic letter for me, could be diff for you.

I have a GN Netcom 8000 and I hear a beep in the headset every 12 seconds. Any ideas why?

Had the same problem with mine did not realise that there are batterys in the unit and they are going flat. Open the top and look on the right side, there are 2 aaa's inside. Replace those and you should be fine

I think my phone is too old to hook up to the amplifier.

My co-worker fiddled around for a bit and finally we made it work. He plugged the amplifier into the jack for the phones handset, and then plugged the handset into the phone.

The headset we then plugged into the amp. This seems so simple, it would be great if I had been told this by our tech cupport team, maybe we would have had it hooked up sooner.

thanks!
