Is your volume muted?

Have you checked to make sure your drivers are all installed/functioning correctly?

Otherwise, something could be physically wrong with your speakers. They could be damaged or there could be a short somewhere on your computer.

I cant get my NEC speaker to work for my computer. Is there a specific plug in the monitor that it goes into? Or do you need a software?

click start control panel sounds and audio,volume you can adjust the volume or
advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or
audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the right speakers or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to sound,video and game cotrollers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers

My laptop is not poducing sound .....how can i download from NEC site online?

First you need to know why it is not producing sound.
Is the volume turned off (muted)?
Did it work and suddenly stop?
When you go into the control panel under sounds, does it say that you have no sound drivers? Were they ever there?

I have a laptop nec versa pro va86j the sound doesnt work.

Go into control panel, go to device manager open the window look for your sound card and delete it, click back to top at computer click refresh and reinstall the software to your sound card. ck all settings, your speaker volume, and so on, try head phones to see if you get anything.
