Did you ever try plugging it in to an iHome, and if so, then you have fried something inside of it. if this has happened, then your going to need to call sandisk and tel them what happened and hope that they are nice and replace your sandisk. If there is something else wromg, then tell me.

WHEN I TRY TO SWITCH ON MY SANSA, FIRSTLY IT DISPLAYS REFRESH DATABASE AND THEN THE DISPLAY GOES OFF.

Having gone over a month with no response, I assume the suggested reset procedure solved the problem.

SANSA E200 NOT SHOWING THE MENU SCREEN

Try to format the SANSA E200.

You can do this by simply holding down the Power/Menu button for about 15 seconds. After the reset, any changes you have made to the e200 during its last use will be lost.

PLEASE RESET USING THE RESET PIN PRESENT IN THE SIDE.
AND FORMAT THE PLAYER . if this dosen't work your player is faulty

( I did exactly what was posted, new link if you don't already have this on your pc. http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376 )

  1. Turn the switch on the top of the player to 'Hold'
  2. Press the Record button and Menu buttons at the same time until it the player boots (this took a few seconds)

  3. sansa e200 should tell you to move the switch to unlock,
  4. connect it to your pc and it will update the firmware.
