You need to convert them to 3gp , mp4 or other nokia x3's supported formats , youtube videos format are generally flv. or you can download a new media player for flv files

There is a free website that allows you to download Youtube videos. The website is called KeepVid from there you just copy + paste the Youtube video link and it will allow you to download it in either .FLV or .MP4 formats and both in different levels of quality.
Now, .MP4 formats are usually recognisable by Nokia phones with the pre-installed RealPlayer application. Watching .FLV will require you to download a third party application on your phone, normally just Google for a free one.
If RealPlayer doesn't play the .MP4 files you have downloaded, then I suggest you Google for a free video program compatible with the latest Nokias.
There are two that I use myself for my Nokia N95 8Gb, one called SmartMovie and the other is CorePlayer. SmartMovie plays all .AVI files and .MP4 files while CorePlayer plays .AVI, .MP4 and even .MPG files.
.MP4 files are naturally large due to the encoding, the videos you download of Youtube are usually 20mb for a 3 min 30 sec clip.

You shold try xmediarecode software to convert videos. It can convert almost all types of video to any type of video.

If the phone can browse the web, it can access almost any website. However videos are a different story. That phone only supports H.263 video format. And Youtube doesn't play in that format. So I'm sorry to inform. But there is no way to use your phone to watch youtube.
