Won't respond My Zen micro got a little damp. I dried it for 30+hrs and put the battery back in then turned it on. Now it lights up and displays the Creative logo, thats as far as it goes and my computer doesn't recognize the device any more. Also the screen icon doesn't indicate if it's charging the battery...any suggestions? Is it fried ?

My computer won't recognize that my player is connected. When I plug it in a windows screen comes up that asks which program I want to use with this device and when I go to media player, it says to please connect my player. It says the same thing when I go to the Zen player.

My zen micro plays, however my computer won't recognize it. when I plug it in I get a 4 bar tune instead of the normal 2 bar tune, and when I open the software to add music or edit playlists it states there are no connected devices

I got water in my creative zen and it won't turn on. Is there any way of fixing this?

Probably not.
Remove the battery and place the player in a warm sunny dry place for several days until it drys out completely. Replace the battery, charge it and the see if will work.

This looks like the camera is either damp or too how, make sure you keep it in a dry not too cold or too warm area, if that does not work then remove battery for 2 hrs then put battery back on camera.

My CREATIVE ZEN Micro doesn't play any media after i accidentally dropped it. Is there hope?

1. Ensure that the player is turned off

2. Remove the battery.

3. Move and hold the Power button to the Power On position and re-insert

the battery to the Zen Micro. Hold the Power button until the rescue

mode appears.

4. After 2-3 seconds the rescue menu will be displayed.

At this point the battery can safely be replaced and maintenance options

performed.

5. Four options will be displayed on the LCD screen:

? Clean Up - (To rearrange your stored data)

? Format All - (To format and remove all data)

? Reload Firmware - (Reloads your player's operating system - Do not

choose this option unless you have downloaded a firmware update from the

Creative website)

? Reboot - (Restarts your Player)

6. Select the Clean Up and then the Reboot option.

Now, please try turning off the player.

Player is not responding cant shot off or on. when battery remuved it shots off

Betwenn the headphone socker and the power switch is the lock control. I'm thinking maybe your player is just locked. Try moving the switch to the other setting.

i have this same problem, but i don't know how to sort it other than taking the battery out, plugging it into the computer or plugging it into a battery pack if you have one. sorry!
