Question about General Time Corporation Westclox Bell Ringer Quartz Analog Bedside Alarm Clock The clarity of a bell alarm with the conveni...
I have a Wextclox model 66713, 1.5" red LED alarm clock with the translucent plastic case, that gains about 5 minutes every 8 hours. The manufacture date on the bottom is 5-99! I love this clock, and would really like to keep it going. The closest thing I can find is the Westclox Triad with 2" numbers. Can this be repaired?
Digital clocks work of the frequency input of the power source so it is possible to have it adjusted by a technician
like fine tuning a radio frequency there may be a pot that can be tuned to mains frequency exactly
talk with technicians in radio or tv shops or possible some jewellers who work on electric clocks may help

Hi faulkquarter
I take it that the clock displayed with this problem if not a 22717 model. The one I have sighted is a digital clock. Generally, you need to hold down the "time" button and also press the "hours" and "mins" buttons at the same time to set the time. If this is not how your clock appears, please give me the button names and I can write a method of changing the time for you.
regards
Graeme

After selecting either TIME, DATE, or ALARM at the top of the screen, use the stylus to touch and hold the large time display. Hold it there for about 5 seconds and the clock will beep and the time display will start flashing. Then you can touch either the hours or minutes and it will increase by either 1 hour or 1 minute accordingly. When the DATE is selected, it shows the year in the large display. Again, holding the stylus on the year diaply for about 5 seconds will enter into the chqange mode. IN all cases, to exit the change mode simply select one of the other selections across the top: TIME, DATE, ALARM.
