Speakers Crackle after 5 minutes

I have had this unit for a year with no problems. Now after I it is on for 5 minutes the speakers begin to crackle and they get worse the longer the unit is on. I noticed that when I use Pure Direct the speakers dont crackle when listening to FM. If I switch to 2 Ch they start to crackle and any other option crackles. Same holds true when I play a DVD. Any Thoughts? Thanks George

SOURCE: Not getting sound from right speaker

How do you have the audio hooked up from the TV set? If its s video or RCA plugs? If it is switch them around and see if it swaps channels that goes out . If it does then the output cable or the jack is bad. If your using an HDMI ir a scart cable. The cable or connections could be bad. Unplug it and reinsert it or while the units on mover it around and see if the audio comes back on.

With the Right Hand, press and hold the STRAIGHT/EFFECT button. With the Left Hand, press the MASTER ON/OFF button and HOLD both buttons for no more than “3” SECONDS, AT THE SAME TIME. SOURCE: Front speakers no sound!

Most likely you have pressed the speaker AB switch, try pressing it again and see if it works.

hi there,
The problem is actually from the speakers themselves. If it's not a year old you might want to bring it back to the store where you purchased it for a warranty repair or replacement.
Sadly the problem is inside the speaker and it could be a loose connection inside. If you're comfortable enough you can try to open the speakers and check inside for any loose wires which cause unstability of sound or for any loosed fittings from the magnet.
Hope this helps!

Dell studio 1737 speakers crackle and pop.

My best guess is, if they crackle with the speakers but not the headfones,  then replace the speakers. Must be a lose wire or something of that nature.

No sound coming out of speakers

A quick way to check your speakers is to put the contacts from a 9 volt battery to the positive and negative speaker wires (briefly). You should hear a crackle of some sort if the speakers are functioning. If there is no crackle, speakers are bad / if there is a crackle, your head unit must have a problem.

Speakers are crackling

This could be caused by one of your speaher wires being shorted out to ground, OR one of the speaker terminals in the doors or rear coming into contact with metal. If you remove the unit and test it with the speakers hooked directly to the back of the unit and they do not crackle, then the unit is fine. If they still crackle - then you either have two diferent sets of bad speakers, Or more than likely the outputs of the kenwood have been damaged by an improper installation in the past.

Bose 123 Home Theater speakers started crackle sound?

If the wires are bare on some parts and touch eachother that will most likely be the cause.
