SOURCE: Elan 948 OVen doesn't heat and light designating heating does not go on.

we just had the same problem with the same oven. pull the oven out of the wall. on the top right side there is a fan. there is a safety switch that is activated by the fan blowing on it. a piece of insulation was preventing the switch from activating so the oven thought the fan was not running. remove the insulation and the oven comes back to life.

I have a GE Dual wave II Microwave System (model # jkp68g0k3). Still works great.

You may be able to find a replacement glass for your GE Dual Wave II microwave system by contacting GE's customer service or parts department. They may have compatible replacement parts available, or be able to direct you to a third-party supplier that carries them. You can also try searching for the part online using the model number of your microwave. However, keep in mind that older models may have limited availability of replacement parts, so you may need to consider alternative solutions such as having the glass custom-cut or purchasing a new microwave.

Control knobs

Hi, Elan oven has seemed to drop off the earth right now but I have some feelers out trying to get parts for it. If you have a manual there may be a # in there to call. The oven itself may have a phone number or a company name to call for information on parts. The best way to fix your problem would be to replace the knobs with new ones. You may be able to take the ones you have to a parts place and they may have something to at least work temp until you get new ones. I will continue to work on finding parts for it so If you find anything or have any information to help me find them, Let me know. Hope I can help. kstfas

Hello, I have an issue with Belling Countrychef DF100. Both Electric ovens don't work, one it triggers the fuse box as soon as i turn the knob and fan oven does not work although i can set the time

You will need someone to open and replace faulty part or parts, and since this is an online only site, even the purchase of replacement parts will be an issue for you. I am sorry to inform you, but it will be likely that you need to purchase a new oven if you haven't found someone to repair it.

FIXYA tends to be for do it yourself repairs and questions, and when I searched the internet for information I only saw the following video showing a technician unscrewing parts, but really not providing enough help to assist you. Unfortunately, you will be faced with paying a repair technician or purchasing a new oven.

Oven door has stayed locked after self cleaning. Error code E1 F5. Can you advise

this is one of common issue with oven when control board starts malfunctioning. Try replacing your Oven Control board. if you know the Control board part number then I would recommend you to purchase one of them from Partsimple.com. Since Partsimple is more reliable, convenient, affordable for control boards. You can either purchase a new one or even a refurbished one which work same as new one..
