Car Seat Cosco Alpha Omega Elite 22-155

I recently purchased this car seat, and I am having problems installing it rearfacing without the head rest in the car. Any Ideas on helping????? Thanks-

I was wondering if u got it fixed or not? i am looking for a carseat cover and i was wondering if u just got a new one or what and if u did i would love to purchase the cover from u lol

I took all the straps on and washed them and can't figure how to replace them

How do I remove the head rest to convert this car seat to a booster? The back plate and the head rest are connected and held on by a metal bar on the back of the car seat.

This car seat does not convert to a booster. It becomes a "Belt-positioning booster". The back and headrest remain while using as a booster. You remove the 5-point harness and use the car's shoulder strap seat belt.
The belt positioning is done by the plastic parts at the top on either side of the seat.

I have a cosco alpha omega elite car seat that i bought yesterday and i figured out how to put in in my car but i can't figure out how to take the base off for front facing.

I have the cosco alpha omega elite 22-155 and i need a new cover

Dorel Juvenile Group manufactures these car seats for under the Cosco brand. You should check out their web site.

Check out the recall notices and make sure your seat is not listed.
Register your car seat so that you are informed of any future recalls.

We have taken our car booster seat apart and ran the cover through the laundry. We used the delicate cycle and COLD water. We also soaked it overnight. This resulted in a very clean cover. MAKE SURE you take several good quality photos of it so that you can get it back together again. Online manuals do not seem to exist.
