There is a lever under the beans container that controls the size of the grind. it should always always be center, or to the right of center. if it is too far to the left, the chute will clog up and the grinder teeth will get impacted with coffee flour. nothing to do at that point but set up a service call to replace the grinder. please make sure your servicer is a miele tech. anyone else will not know how to work on this machine.
SOURCE: No coffee coming out
sounds like you have a bean jam post your model i will send you the guide on how to fix this it is too long to type here
SOURCE: Miele CVA615 remove coffee bean dispenser?
their is a plastic screw below the bean dispenser .once unscrewed you will remove the dispenser
SOURCE: I placed ground coffee instead coffee beans in
Bean grinders expect to grind whole beans as you have just found out. The grounds have clogged the entrance of the grinder. Use a wood chop stick to try and loosen up the 'caked' coffee and remove the coffee with a vacuum hose attachment. Try to **** out as much of the coffee as you can. Please note that this should all be done with the machine unplugged. Try grinding again but don't let it 'Hum' too long if it's not grinding. You can also try to adjust the grinder 'coarser' to give more room for the burrs to clear. Good Luck!
SOURCE: No 'real' coffee taste or crema - despite following instructions
Set the machine for the finest coffee and the least water.
You should get a decent espresso.
For a regular cuppa, keep the settings the same and make either a medium coffee combined with a small coffee (jolt) or
make two small coffees.
I have this machine and the crema is nice at this setting.
SOURCE: Fault F 17 appears when in use. Starts grinding
f 17 is no water flow. It usually occurs when the brew unit has not been cleaned regularly, when the coffee grind size is set too fine, or when oily beans are used. You can try to soak the brew unit in hot water for a while, and run water through it in the sink. Unfortunately, most cases require brew unit replacement. A properly cleaned and maintained brew unit should last the life of the machine.
