Hi and welcome to FixYa,

If reset, menu, battery power on/off will not work, let's try hardware tricks. Get hold of a can of compressed air. Use the the narrow tube/nozzle. On every cranny, battery compartment, openings, space, blow compressed air. This is of course as earlier stated, nothing else works.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.

Ttry removing the memory card, and resetting the camera to factory settings first, this sometimes can sort out the problem.

  • Ginko
    Ginko Nov 27, 2008

To reset to factory settings, go to the toolbox icon and select the "initialize" command, click ok and perform a master reset.

This will reset the camera to factory settings and should clear the message.

    Ginko Nov 27, 2008

Here is an alternate solution to flash error.

Try first going to toolbox and selecting the "initialize" command, then click ok and perform a master reset.

If the reset does not work, then the flash is really faulty.

Try first performing the reset procedures, usually they sort out the flash error problem.

Check out if battery is fully charged or also try replacing the battery.or it could be also because of faulty lens.just tap the device for few minutes on the top side. and check .or taking irt to the repair center is advisable. thanks,.
