Time incorrect. GuidePlus is working on the right time, but the time on the television itself is off by half an hour. Any suggestions?

Ge recomendation to repair the problem, is to replace the micro & crystal. micro is 75 to 100 & crystal about $10 to 15 + labour. my customers ususally decide to stop using the tv clock if the warranty is out

RCA Guideplus gold gemstar analog or digital

Most of the RCA GuidePlus Gold gemstar TVs worked with analog TV signals (NTSC) only. The Guide+ information was only broadcast in NTSC signals and is no longer being provided. If you can check the date of manufacture of the TV, you can use the size to check if it had an ATSC tuner added if it was made for the US market. 37"+ TVs had to have a digital tuner in second half of 2005. 25" TVs needed to have the ATSC tuner after March, 2006. The next year all TVs had to have a digital tuner.

Why does my 8 year old 47" Samsung DLP turn itself off 5 or 6 times during the first half hour after turning it on then it is fine after that?

This could be a lot of things but most likely it is the power supply.

Sub Shuts off after only being up half volume

try to check your speakers. check the pigtail, maybe it is disconnecting from the cone or from the connector. then after that, resolder it.
