I RESIDE IN HOLY SUNDAY AND NEED TO BUY THE CCD OF MY CHAMBER(CAMERA) DSC-M1 TO REPAIR IT HERE SINCE(AS,LIKE) I IT CAN BUY WHERE AND ENVIEN TO HOLY SUNDAY CAN GIVE ME THE CODE AND THE PLACE WHERE TO OBTAIN THE ABOVE MENTIONED PIECE.Based on the information provided, your product may be affected by the CCD image sensor issue and needs to be sent in for evaluation and possible repair.

You can get free of cost CCD replacement from Sony as they announced a scheme of free of cost repair for DSC-M1 camera.

The CCD imager is faulty and it has to be replaced. A well known problem with the M1. Contact SONY and see if they will replace the CCD imager unit free of charge. They did but recently they stopped the free replacement for a lot of models.

My Sony M1 outdoor pics have a pink tint to them, and indoor pics have horizontal lines through them. The camera was exposed to high outdoor temperatures in which a battery died.

It is bad ccd imager problem in your Sony DSC-M1 camera and Sony will repair it free of cost.
