Cleaned them with what?

key don't work on a laptop due to something being spilled on them(liquid) or something underneath them(hair, crumbs etc)

hold the laptop upside down(off of course) and GENTLY tap the edge near the keyboard bottom on table you might find something dropping out

otherwise new keyboard time

Four keys in Belkin wireless keyboard are not working

If only specific keys are not working, something is obstructing those keys\' pickups which are located immediately beneath the keys. This is almost always caused by food debris or liquid spillage as dust doesn\'t provide particles big enough to cause issues.

If those four keys feel "funny" when being pressed, it\'s almost certainly a physical obstruction. If they feel "sticky" it\'s always a liquid spill. If you don\'t recall spilling anything over the keyboard, use a can of compressed air (found at office supply stores).

Turn the keyboard long side up, with the keys leaning slightly downward. Place the air nozzle close to the intersections of the keyboard, starting at one side and work your way to the other side, using short bursts of air. Repeat for every row of keys. Pay special attention to the four that do not currently work.

You\'ll probably see lots of junk fall out of the keyboard. That\'s good, if so--I would then retest the keyboard (no need to reboot the computer). That should fix it--if not, you may have to resort to pulling off the keys that don\'t work. The next possibility would be broken key hinges, but that\'s beyond the scope of this reply.

For liquids, cleaning is hit or miss. If left long enough, liquids will eat away at the circuits, or provide a short circuit and kill the component. Since only four keys are affected, I\'m really leaning towards food debris, but if you did spill a liquid, you can disassemble the keyboard and clean up any residue under and around the keys. Probably best to use rubbing alcohol and a q-tip for that--but if you\'re not comfortable taking stuff like this apart, it might be time for a new keyboard, or find a handy friend. Good luck!

I've just been given a second hand Daewoo fuzzy logic DWF 4094R. I've been told it works fine, but it has a hose missing. This didn't worry me because I like to do cold water washes. But I

I don\'t under stand what help you need.

If the cat urine smell is outside of the appliance then wash it down with Clorox.

If there is a filter on the output of this machine then service that before doing the next step.

If the odor is inside the machine then run Clorox for a couple of long hot cycles AND then run white vinegar in it. The Clorox will sanitize and the white vinegar will loosen and remove minerals that hold odor.

Add a quarter cup of white vinegar to each load until the odor is gone or your clothes will stink.

My thought is that there is a reason they gave you this "working" machine. If you have further issues then let us know.

Good luck,
Mike

The Ctrl key don't work

Chances are the keyboard is dirty - pull the key off and clean it - but there are two so if it is bugging you replace the keyboard if cleaning doesn't work

Broken enter key

enter key on the keyboard?
well, you don't need any expert guide to replace it,all you need to do is shut down the computer, pull the key off from the keyboard gently by hold it on each side with your hand (or it's already taken off)
to put it back on the keyboard, just push it perpendicular
still,if you're not sure to do this by yourself,i suggest you to take it to the notebook center, notebooks hardware is a pretty fragile

01 mitsu galant do nothing, all lights on, chip key ok i think

Find a strip of white pasteboard (like the form used in the collar of a new shirt. Cut it in the shape of the chip key from the handle to the beginning of the key pin cuts (don't make it any longer than this; you don't want to grind pasteboard into the lock mechanism). Slide it into the lock several times to clean off any gunk that might have been deposited on the chip contacts. Clean both sides of the chip on the key with a paper towel or cotton swab dampened with rubbing alcohol, then dry it.
If it still doesn't work, you may have bent the contacts in the lock, and it needs to be taken apart for repair.

Cleaning the lens from the inside

Cleaning the lens from the inside is not possible from a practical point of view. However, if you don't care that your camera won't work after you've taken it apart but you just want to see what's inside, then go ahead. If you see dust inside the lens and this is what is concerning you, please know that all lenses have dust inside...it can't be totally eliminated. In 99.999% of cases, the dust doesn't show up on the actual pictures.

I have a Technics PCM Digital Piano PX73 and suddenly some of the keys will not play unless repetitively pressed. The instrument has been absolutely reliable for almost 20 years, I can't find my...

Don't waste time troubleshooting... The problem is dirty key contacts... Most are made of a conductive rubber black pills in silicone domes that the keys press onto circuit board traces. Accessing them to clean is a pain... Use ONLY 99% isoprophly alcohol and Q Tips and gently clean the pills and the circuit traces they pres onto. Care must be taken in opening and handling the shell halves of the unit as there will be ribbon cables connecting them. If you are not adept, best take this to a shop.

Hi. After using budget ink cartridges, the print quality has been very poor and not printing the correct colours it suppose to. I've performed many print cleaning options but it is still not rectifying...

If the cartridges you're using give you poor results, throw them away cos you don't know what other damage they might be doing.

I'm not saying don't use budget cartridges, just bin them if they don't work properly and get a different brand.

Alternatively, are cheap cartridges worth all this hassle?
