I have a bosch maxx wfl 2260 that we kind of inherited when we moved house. it only works if we set the cycle on 40 degrees and it seems to be much hotter than that. any ideas?

Check to see if this model has 2 water inlet hoses
if there is 2 only 1 may be used and is connected to hot tap thus only letting in hot water when machine requires water

Programmes appear to be taking excessively long time to complete even with the quick wash button pressed - 2 hour 15 min for 30 Cotton wash cycle. Is this right or is there a fault? 30 Easy-care seems to be taking almost as long.
sounds like a simularproblem i had, a 5cent piece got caught in the drain solenoid (just between the drum and solenoid) , i had to lift up the front and spin the drain pump fan, on empty, then disassemble and clean pump assy and remove 5cent piece, hope this helps.
Hi ! I have problem with my Bosch Washer wfl 2061 .. It was running till stoped to realease drain water out... But no drain water come out.. I have checked drain water host... Nothing thaere.. Clean out your outlet filter; this is to be done regularly once a month, depending on your usage.
Re your tablets not disolving, try using front loading washing powder. Also refer to your manual..........
