Popcorn maker jams up - burns kernels

I have an old fashioned popcorn maker (on a cart) - bought at costco 2 years ago. last couple of times, kettle heats up, stirring mechanism inside stops, and popcorn burns ... almost as if drive gear is not high enough, when paddle is low to the kettle bottom. I assume this is designed to stay against bottom of kettle and rotate, to keep kernels from sticking underneath and burning. any thoughts on how to rectify this issue ..?

Nostalgia Popcorn Maker CCP399 - when the popcorn is popped, unpopped kernels come out with the popped kernels. How can I stop this from happening? Thanks!

You cannot. All poppers of that style will a some "fall out". The better commercial machines have very little as the kettles are deeper, but you cannot eliminate it. The unpopped kernels are not reusable.

I have an Old Fashioned Movie Time Popcorn machine on a cart, it is missing the basket that pops the corn.

Helman Group does not sell replacement parts anywhere. (there is a website that claims to, it is a scam) Your only option is trying to find a used machine for parts.

Good Luck, it is doubtful you will find a working kettle.

Ccp-509 popcorn kettle stop spinning when popcorn begins to pop. It won't pop out of the kettle.

Normally that is caused by too many kernels used. It pops too fast and jams up in the kettle. It could be a problem with the kettle though. Call 920-347-9122 for help with it.

Popcorn jamming in kettle

The only real solution is to put less kernels in kettle - it pops so fast that it jams up and burns. Adding a little more oil usually helps as well.
