CD Player not Working

The CD Player on my Jukebox is not working, I have had someone take a look at it and have come to the conclusion that I need a new chip or "mitsumi" chip MM1469. The problem I am having is I have no idea where to locate this. Any help would be appreciated.

CD is not spinning

Other than the obvious which you have already done you are in deep doo doo. Could be that the motor that spins the cd has gone south, or the mechanism that detects a disk (laser) is no longer working so it will not trigger the motor to turn on. In any event that stuff is not user repairable and if you farm it out the cost is simply not worth it. And if the cd player or mechanism is proprietary such as yours your only relief is the manufacturer and that is not good. No competition, plus proprietary parts, plus labor, plus shipping mean exorbitant expense. U can try check on ebay for used unit on the cheap when this happens.

Missing CD player of Wurlitzer CD Jukebox model New York,NY 1993

Hello,

All of the one more time jukeboxes used the Phillips CD player, they started with the CDM3 then the CDM4 and CDM12 etc.
Around 1993 it would have been the CDM3/4.
You need to identify which Decoder it is using in the jukebox or you need a kit that replaces the CD player and Decoder.
