Hi, seems like you may have a faulty aux jack socket(if the socket is mounted onto the face) or you may have some dry joints on the socket, or even a cracked pc board around the aux socket connections. also try cleaning the face connection pins both on the unit and on the face. if you not technically minded, check out you jvc repair center. cheers!

SOURCE: Does not switch to Ext Input

Hi,

You need to enable the "Line In" option on your stereo. Press "SEL" for a couple of seconds to enter to special menu, change the input from sirius to Line In. Check the manual on how to do this. Once Line in is selected you press CD/CD-CH and it should change to Line In, Line in is then displayed on the screen.

SOURCE: MY JVC CD CAR RADIO DETACHABLE FACE LIGHTS UP LIKE

If this unit worked in the past, and there have been no repairs done that would have disturbed the connections, then its quite possible that you accidentally engaged the mute feature.
Good luck...

SOURCE: JVC KD-G110 car music system is taking CD and not getting played am not able to function any ...?

Hi. your radio has 2 power wires. A red one and a yellow one (with most decks) It sounds like your radio is getting only constant power but no "key on" power. Check your radio with the key on you should have power on both the red and yellow wires. If you are missing power on one of the wires theres your problem. If you have power on both wires then there is something internally wrong with your radio...

I was wondering how do I play music through my iPhone with this cd player. I have a direct cable but I'm not sure what to press to make it play through my cd player. Thank you.

Once you plug in your iphone and set it to play your song(s). Set your car player for AUX this will then pick up the device playing into the direct port. Hope this helps Fix ya up.

My daughter has an Iwantit ipod speaker model IW900 and it works/sounds fine with her ipod usind the dedicated ipod connector. On the the back of the speaker there is an Aux in socket. She would like...

It took me a while to figure this one out. Firstly plug your device in to the aux socket and play some music so you can hear when it's correctly switched over. Turn on the iwantit using the switch at the back then press the play button once, you should see the lights on the buttons go brighter. Now press the play button again, this time holding it down for exactly 3 seconds. When you release the button you should be in aux mode and you should hear your music playing. Hope this helps, it took me about an hour of faffing around before I finally figured it out.

My Dewalt dc911 charger works but no sound?

Try and plug something in the aux. If you don't hear sound out of the aux when you plug something like your cd player in then your speaker cables have come off the circuit board or the out put transistor has gone on the radio. Sell on Ebay these go for a good price faulty.

Playing a iphone on a standard honda radio

you need to identify the AUX input (it should be in the rear of the unit). If it is a standard mini plug, then you can use your iphone. If it is a proprietary harness input then you will need to buy the appropriate hardware fron a honda dealer.

Need a diagram to hook my Bose CinemaT speakers. When I hook it directly to the tv no problem but can't figure out how to hookup my reciever and CD player to work also? Help Please

You'd be better off hooking the speakers to the RECEIVER'S speaker outputs, THEN hooking your TV audio output to an unused receiver input, such as AUX. The signals from your receiver cannot reach the TV; thus your CD player and radio will not play through the speakers if the speakers are hooked to the TV. All receiver INPUTS are designed to accept the same signal level; thus, you can use any input for your TV audio, such as Aux, DVD, CD, etc. Just remember which input you're using for the TV audio, and everything should work fine. Almost all receivers have an AUX input; hopefully yours also has a dedicated CD input to avoid confusion. The you simply select the AUX input to hear your TV through the speakers.

When playing a DVD the owner manual says to push the CD/Aux button on the radio to get the DVD sound to play through the cars speakers. This doesn't work. We can only get the DVD sound to come through...

Make sure the headphones are powered off. If you press the CD/AUX button twice the headphone symbol should disappear and it will play through the car speakers.
