The screen might be messed up. It might not, but it seems like it was damaged, the screen is very sensative, so they will crack easily. just call iPod, that is your best bet because they know more than me. Good luck fixing it!

If your ipod has a white screen reset your ipod. You can do this by pressing and holding the menu button and the center button in your ipod. Keep pressing both until the apple logo appears this should reset your ipod. If it does not work try again. This worked for mine good luck :)
