just a driver . from unknown company,
it is from chip maker ESS, from year 2006 , XP OS.
the maker has no sound drivers.
majorgeek has this, old set.

its no good on todays new w10 windows.
best is buy a new card for $4 and end the legacy dogs.

2006 sound cards. it is PCI not PCI-express
so is useless on all modern PC>
but since you imply it fits to a PC the PC is a relic
and not told the chip sets on the card are not supported by them maker of the chips so is double dead.(product line not maker)

they ended all legacy then./ that means so did biostar. with no base drivers it ends.

The official site of manufacturer is http://www.esstech.com , your model seems to be no longer supported and I'm not convinced that it has an XP driver (in case you need XP driver). You can try contacting them.

1st Download Driver from this site ESS Sound Driver
Installation of Sound Card.

• Go to the control panel
• Click on the System Icon
• Click on the Hardware Tab
• Click on the Device Manager then
• Select the Multimedia Controller or Audio Control the yellow Question Marks sign on it.
• Right click on Multimedia Controller and uninstall it.
• After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
• Driver installation Wizard start.
• Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
• Driver will be install.

You should be able to go to the manufactures website and download it there

after upgrading my xp to xp proffesionl sp2 , the only sound i could get was through the voip phone, any ideas
